Effective Date: January 1, 2026
By accessing or using the website located at concretecompanyspringfield.com (the "Site"), or by requesting, scheduling, or receiving any services from Superior Springfield Concrete Company ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors to the Site, as well as to customers who engage us for concrete work. Separate written agreements or contracts signed at the time of a job may supplement these Terms for that specific project.
Superior Springfield Concrete Company provides residential and commercial concrete services in central Illinois, including but not limited to: concrete driveway installation, patio construction, stamped and decorative concrete, sidewalk building, garage floor work, foundation installation, slab work, retaining walls, concrete cutting, and related concrete flatwork and structural services.
Service availability is subject to scheduling, weather conditions, permit timelines, and geographic coverage. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
All estimates we provide are free and provided in writing before any work begins. An estimate is not a final price guarantee; it is a good-faith projection based on the scope of work as understood at the time of the visit. If site conditions, customer requests, or unforeseen factors require a change in scope, we will notify you before proceeding with additional work and provide an updated written estimate.
Prices are subject to change based on material costs, permit fees, and other factors outside our control. Any price changes that affect your project will be communicated to you in writing prior to commencement of the affected work.
Once a project is scheduled and a start date is confirmed in writing, we commit to that date barring weather delays, permit-related holds, or circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as early as possible if a delay is necessary.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in a fee to cover mobilization costs already incurred. Any deposit paid may be forfeited in the event of a cancellation after materials have been ordered or site preparation has begun.
We reserve the right to reschedule projects due to weather conditions that would compromise the quality of the concrete work. Concrete requires specific temperature and humidity ranges to cure correctly, and we will not pour in conditions that put the finished product at risk.
Payment terms for each project will be stated in the written estimate or contract. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the project, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated to you prior to the start of work. Late payments may be subject to a late fee as specified in your project contract. If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, we reserve the right to place a mechanic's lien on the property in accordance with Illinois law.
We obtain all required permits for covered work prior to commencement of the project. Permit fees are passed through to the customer and will be itemized in the written estimate. Work performed under a permit will be inspected by the applicable municipality.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the property is accessible, that any required utility locates have been completed, and that any existing encroachments, easements, or restrictions on the property have been disclosed to us before work begins. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities or for permit delays caused by inaccurate information provided by the customer.
We stand behind our work and will address workmanship defects that arise within a reasonable period after project completion, as outlined in your written contract. However, all work is provided on an "as-is" basis with respect to factors outside our control.
We do not warrant that concrete surfaces will be free from cracking or movement caused by ground settlement, expansive soils, tree root intrusion, vehicle overloading, improper use, frost heave, or other conditions inherent to the site that could not be remediated within the agreed scope of work.
Concrete is a natural material subject to cracking. Hairline cracks that develop as part of normal curing and seasonal movement are not covered under any workmanship warranty unless they are the direct result of a documented defect in our work.
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Superior Springfield Concrete Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or the use of our Site. Our total liability for any claim arising from a project will not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific project.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions on the property, including but not limited to deteriorated utilities, unstable soils, undisclosed underground obstructions, or structural deficiencies, unless we have expressly agreed in writing to address those conditions as part of the project scope.
If a dispute arises between you and Superior Springfield Concrete Company in connection with our services, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve it through direct, good-faith communication. Please contact us at info@concretecompanyspringfield.com with a description of the issue, and we will respond within 5 business days.
If direct resolution is not reached, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Springfield, IL, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless both parties agree otherwise in writing. Each party waives the right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of IL, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Springfield, IL.
